CCpur vehicles suffer from lack of parking space

Lamka Jul 3(IFP): As many 80 percent passengers commuting between Ccpur to Imphal in any available vehicles everyday are preferring the Winger Services along the Tedim lines by virtue of the fact that it has been much faster taking only 1 hours duration to reach their destination as comapared to the Large size bus operated under the bus owners associations which took almost two hours time Opinions collected from various angles have also viewed in favour of continued operation of the Winger Services as it has enable commutters to reach office , job seekers to reach and face the interview on time and help all other people having timebound programmes reach well on time.

Yet the problems facing with the society are far from over. They are facing parking problems as of now in addition to those of stoppage point after the Tedim Bus owners cooperative association complain against them to higher govt authorities stating that they stopped and picked passengers midway besides attacking and even using physical violence to the Winger operatives This has been the taking points at the All Lamka.

Taxi Owners Association Socciety , ALTOS, general meeting held yesterday in at Ccpur in which leaders of the ZSF , CDSU apart from other leaders of the transport association .Officials of the All Manipur Light and Medium Vehicles Traansporters Union have also present at the occassion.

The Secretary of ALTOS has said that if they are not allowed to stop midway to pave way for passenger wanting to get down or due some emergency situation or even to attend natures call The ALTOS were given permission under Section 74 of MV Act , 1988 and at this point in time the Winger fleet are 12 in numbers and may even be increase as per need and demands of the people.
